Uganda is a land of many resources, but unfortunately, cash isn’t one of them. We have to pay teachers and staff. Course materials have to be printed, and transportation to remote areas can be difficult and expensive. 

Our expenses are actually quite low, but they are still very real and have to be paid on time. It costs about $200 per month to fund each class, or about $6 per student. Right now we have more than 350 students waiting for new classes to be funded.

You can sponsor a student, or a teacher, make a recurring gift, or a one time contribution. Because we are a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are 100% tax deductible. 

Did you know that DCI is eligible for GIFT MATCHING from most corporations and compa​nies?  After comprehensive vetting, DCI qualified for matching through Benevity Causes at companies such as Microsoft, Apple, Boeing, and many, many others. Even smaller companies may participate in gift matching programs. All you have to do is ask your supervisor for a simple form to fill (or online) and your employer will double your gift to DCI!
